Deepak Thakoor

On completing his graduation in Mechanical Engineering Production, Mr. Thakoor joined the family business of metal pressing. He is a Director of The Oriental Metal Pressing Works Pvt. Ltd. He had also owns a farm at Saphala in the district of Thane. In 1999 he joined Ranjit Dhuru in developing D'Ori Winery Pvt Ltd. Mr. Thakoor has extensively traveled in the Bordeaux region and has substantially contributed, both financially and by dint of hard work, in building the vineyard and winery.

'Mamaji', as he is fondly called by colleagues and subordinates, was responsible for developing the special poles necessary for the French style single cordon system for grape vines. His experience with metal works also helped in construction of the custom designed, high quality stainless steel fermentation tanks of the winery.
